Our History

Scott-Larson Orthotics was founded August 5, 1988 by Stacie Larson, Registered Physical Therapist, with the assistance of her husband and friends. The business was originally only a part-time venture, but quickly became full-time way of life.

Stacie soon gave up her physical therapy job in order to provide the best possible services and orthotic devices to the Springfield area. Through 1991, patients were seen out of a small office, while devices were fabricated in a lab at Stacie’s home.

In 2001 both offices were combined in the current location at the Medical South building.  Our office prides itself on being Southwest Missouri’s largest pediatric orthotic provider and strives to continue to provide the best up-to-date care for all our patients.

In 2015 Scott-Larson Orthotics joined the Midwest Orthotic Services family of companies. The MOS mission is to enrich and transform lives through compassionate care and innovation. This partnership allows Scott-Larson to expand their products and services in order to provide exceptional orthotic and prosthetic care throughout southwest Missouri. Midwest Orthotic Services (MOS) is based in South Bend, Indiana. The company consists of 11 offices, with over 25 clinicians practicing in 7 states.
